About

Charmed Wellness was established in the spring of 2014, when I – a then-health communicator/now-clinical marketing professional and Les Mills RPM instructor – moved away from my health-conscious city of Washington, D.C., and migrated south, where food is smothered, fried, or both.

You can probably tell that health is a focus in my life, but it wasn’t always that way. In the beginning of 2012, I weighed 50 pounds more than I did toward the end of that year. I’ve managed to keep that weight off through various life events, including changing jobs, getting engaged, earning my master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, and getting married – and through this life change, as well. This experience, my formal education and professional experience in health communication and clinical marketing and certification in fitness instruction uniquely position me to help others to achieve their health and fitness goals. I’m cordially inviting you to join me!

In health,
Anna

  1. Anna! Thanks for friending me and leading me here to your blog. Congrats on the healthy life style and on getting married! I am sure your man appreciates you and you’re happy together. thanks for being in touch. I certainly remember you so very fondly from the CVHS years.

    • Hi there! Thank you for reading! I had a friend suggestion on Facebook for you, and I thought to myself, “Mrs. Coppock!” You were always such a positive person in my life. In fact, when I saw your comment, Nate and I were riding in the car, and I told him about you and that you were always one of those people who made me feel so good about myself during a not-so-happy or stable time in my life – and oh so fun to be around. I’ll never forget that and really appreciated it. It’s so nice to reconnect online! I talked to Jackson a month or so ago, and he seems to be doing so well! You must be so proud of the men you raised. I hope all is well with you, and I look forward to staying in touch!
